Coimbatore (DT), India. Built up area is more than 2
lakh square feet. |
Water
is being drawn from river Bhavani, tributory of river
Cauvery. The Company is having licence to draw maximum
of 24.23 lakhs litres per day. |
Mettupalayam
is accessible by Road, Train and Air. It is only 40
km away from Coimbatore, the Manchester of South India.
It is also nearer to the major power loom centres like
Tiruppur, Somanur, Palladam, and Erode.

modern machines and also a colour computer GRETAG MAGBETH.

installed CAUSTIC LYE RECOVERY PLANT from elite engineers
for environmental friendly working of MERCERISATION. |
Besides
UBL has KROFTA – West Germany make CLARIFIER,
AQUA COLOUR REMOVAL PLANT, MECHANICAL EVAPORATOR and
CACCO REACTOR in order to keep environment clean and
to maintain effluents within the norms stipulated by
TNPC Board. |
UBL
is in the process of obtaining ISO 14000 CERTIFICATION,
which will be received very soon. |
Apart
from these activities UBL is in the process of installing
it’s R O Plant to strengthen it’s environmental
activities.
